It is one of the most talented colleges of Delhi University, and the events and festivals in the college reflect that. Tarang, over the years, has grown more than just a college fest. It is a feeling for the LSR crowd and that is the reason the organisers put their heart and soul in it.
Tarang'17 is the most awaited festival of this year and here are the reasons why it is:
1. The Food Festival
If you ever had been to Tarang before, you may have an idea of why this one is at number one. Tarang homes to hundreds of mouth-watering stalls in the campus. Whether it be delicious cakes or pizzas or shakes, they have got an answer to everything. So if you are a foodie and looking for all the best food stalls in Delhi at one place, you should book yourselves.
2. EDM Night
This is one of those nights in LSR, where the most talented crowd dance like there is no one is seeing them. It is most awaited night of Delhi University and for LSR, where you can dance to high pitch music.
3. BeatBoxing
LSR always make sure to surprise us with one or other kind of events. Well, this time it is BeatBoxing. BeatBoxing is a kind of an event where you mimic the vocal percussions like drums and other sounds with your lips, fingers, tongue and mouth.
Time and Date: 5th Feb, 3 pm - 4 pm.
4. Sculpting
Another shocking event? Well, it is Tarang, it will surprise you every now and then. Have you ever been to a sculpting event, well, you should surely join this workshop held at the college? You will be assisted by the trainers and all the materials would be provided in the college itself.
Time and Date: 4th Feb, 12-2 pm or 2.30 - 4.30 pm.
5. Modern Calligraphy
Calligraphy is one of those fields everyone has heard of and always wanted to try. But not most of the people has done it. Well, you should surely attend this particular workshop being organised by LSR as it will be short and to the point and it would be amidst all the fun going on in the college. You may end up being a calligraphy star.

6. Informal Events
LSR always has something for everyone. Well, it is for the fun loving groups who like to go in different colleges and win like a pro. LSR has also got a couple of informal events like Beg Borrow and Steal and Treasure hunt waiting for you. These events may get you entry in the college without the pass. Just get yourselves registered on their website in the events.
7. Recreational Events
LSR Tarang has the number of recreational events set up for you. Some of them are laser tag, Virtual Ride, Bull riding and much more. So if you are looking for an evening to completely rejuvenate you from the hassles of the college, you should surely visit Tarang and make sure you take part in every part of it.
8. Star in the house
Guess the star for this year LSR. Kenny Sebastian. Wow. Kenny is one of the most famous and epic comedians of the country. He has done thousands of shows in India and outside of India. He is also the comedian at Canvas Comedy Club and has also featured in a number of comedy events with AIB, TVF and many more youtube series.
9. Kanika Kapoor
LSR has bought in the most gorgeous and talented star, Kanika Kapoor. She is the one who gave amazing voice in song Dheere Dheere. She will be unveiling the lip colour of the season 'Lulu Lounge' at Tarang 2017.

LSR hosts a number of competitive events in different fields ranging from Dramatics, Dance, Music, Fine Arts, Content Writing, Elocution, Quiz, Bounty Hunters, Hindi Debating and much more. 11. Workshops
LSR is known for the number of workshops it organises round the year for its students. Tarang gives you an opportunity to give you an idea of what it will be like to be a part of such kind of workshops. This time they have organised workshops for Pottery, Jewellery making, woodcraft and much more. You may have to pay a registration amount for each workshop, but it is LSR, it will be worth a single penny.

When I was in college, I always wanted to see what it is like to be in top colleges of the country. I always have the excitement of visiting different colleges and sharing my experience of the college.
