The bullet is a traditional bike sold for over 1.2 lakhs across India and is still preferred for adventurous road trips by many of the people but is it really worth that much? Here are 7 reasons why the bullet is not a viable option to go for in this price segment.
Old technology:
As the people say it is a bike of this era, I say its technology is getting older and older by the time passage. I mean seriously no fuel indicator yet in a bike of more than a lakh, hard to believe isn’t it but yes the technology is getting obsolete as the time passes and the new technology enters the market.
Same old engine:
The bullet carries the same 350cc engine generating approx 18 bhp power and a minimal torque which is really less for this size of engine which shatters all the hopes of fuel efficiency in city traffic and the company still isn’t ready to do any engine modifications to the bike instead it still is producing an off-road bike with 435cc engine which is really a beast if we talk about the economy but produces the least power in that engine segment.
Bad balancing:
As much people like the bike, it's balancing at high speeds is really an issue. It does not shiver but while taking a turn, it really gives you a feeling of dropping off from the bike or making it slide.
No disk brake at rear tyre:
In spite of spending a hell lot of money, you still do not get a disk brake at the rear tyre, instead, it is supported with drum break which wears out very often even after just a few hundred kilometres.
No tubeless tyres:
There are no tubeless tyres so if you tend to be stuck with a flat tyre in a jungle or a highway in the middle of the night or anytime, you just can’t count on the bike or its old technology to help you out.
Better options available:
At this price range, there are better options available as Bajaj Dominator or CBR 150R or R15 to be a channel sports and cruiser bikes which give you more pleasure and comfort while driving for a city and long travels.
