The war between which campus is better South or North has been in existence for so long. Either it is the level of colleges or the food joints, South Campus has continued to offer stiff competition in every field. If North campus has Mecca, the south campus has Nexus.
Both the campuses do have stiff competition when it comes to a number of food joints. South campus has grown a number of cafes in the past year or so. Also has grown the number of street food joints. But if you are a foodie and likes to daily eat out, then these cafes will affect your pocket money badly. But this doesn't mean to stop eating out. Right?
Well to ease your search for good and cheap food joints, we have compiled a list of food joints that would suit you perfectly. Do check the list:
1. Momos: South Campus has a number of momos stalls and each have their own speciality. If you are a fan of spices and sauces, there is a stall in mother diary lane right next to a juice corner that offers six different kinds of sauces with the momos. And trust me, all of them have great taste. The next stall in the same lane is another stall which offers the best soya momos in the city. If you are looking for something tandoori, well it is available right opposite to cyber cafe. Each of these momos has their own taste and all of them are pleasing to your tongue. There are two more stalls in the vicinity.
2. Honey Chilli Potato: Satya Niketan does have a number of food outlets offering the same kind of food. But if you are looking for the crispy, spicy chilli potato, you must visit Angithi restaurant for the same. It prepares one of the amazing taste when it comes to the potato. Add it up with a glass of coke and a perfect treat to your tongue.

Add the parantha with the raita, and you probably would be having the best paranthas you will have.
4. Fried rice and Chowmein: These two are the kind of food items which are available everywhere, but to have a great taste of these delicious and mouth-watering food items is not easy. But we got your back. Shangai food stall near the square market of Satya Niketan offers one of the most delicious chow mien. It has both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian items. You sit in open so if you are a cleanliness freak it may be a problem for you.
5. North Indian Meal: Satya Niketan has a number of places where you can have a complete dinner for less than 100 bucks. Out of this the cheapest one is Stuti dhaba. However, when it comes to taste, Angithi and Granny's kitchen offers slightly higher prices but a great difference of taste.
