IIIT Delhi is known for the variety of events it conducts across different domains and types of students. No matter, if you are a commerce student, arts or from a science background, it has something for everyone.
IIIT Delhi's annual cultural fest Odyssey'17 is all set to be staged on March 24 and 25. The registration of teams for the same has already launched and the website is also recently launched which has registration links to all the events happening in the college.
Here are six reasons why you should not miss Odyssey'17
1. Battle of Bands: Battle of bands is mostly the flagship events for most of the engineering colleges. IIIT Delhi is no different, it gives you the flavour of all kinds of bands in the country and is one of the best battles held in the country. If you are someone who enjoys the pop and rock music, you should not be missing this fest.
2. Mr and Miss Odyssey: IIIT Delhi hosts two events, which are very common among Delhi University students too, namely, Mr and Miss Odyssey and Fashion show. If you are a fashion show and have some natural model inside you, you should not be missing this fest. These two are different events.
3. Room for Innovation: If you are someone who likes to out of the box and performs, IIIT Delhi has events for you. Short Video making, Design 360 and Captcha. These are the three events Odyssey'17 would be hosting.
4. Fun Events: From Sumo Wrestling to Blind date, Chess to comedy shows it has everything covered. However, the details of these events have not been unveiled till now.
5. Gaming arena: Gaming is one sector which is now been trending and many people are falling in love with gaming. Odyssey'17 is icing on the cake for such particular love, and they have all the events ranging from DOTA, Counter Strike, NFS, Fifa and much more.

6. Literature events: Intellectual people like literature and like to talk about stuff related. Odyssey'17 have three events for you guys which include Verbattle, Grammar Nazi and Musings.
There are many more events under the category of Dance, Arts, Fun, Online events, Quizzes and much more.
