Amitabh Bachchan to visit Delhi University





Yes, you read this right. Amitabh Bachchan is planning to come to Delhi University later this month. The actor is a heartthrob of the young and the elder alike. The KMC alumnus is expected to grace the upcoming alumni meet being held at Kirori Mal College.

According to sources, he will be reciting verses from Madhushala, by Harivansh Rai Bachchan at the meet.

In a recent fundraising event held at Mumbai, to raise funds for renovating the auditorium of the college, Big B has donated Rs. 51 lakhs to initiate the donation campaign. The Auditorium of KMC has been in a state of disrepair for quite some time now. The Players, the drama society of KMC is one of the best drama society of Delhi University, However, the college does not have a proper auditorium in place to boost the performances and encourage the young artists. In an aspiring move, the acting principal of the college and its faculty members went to Mumbai in December 2016 to participate in a donation campaign which was organized by Big B and Satish Kaushik to pool money for reconstructing the stage on which the alumnus had once performed.

The actor also revealed his plans to visit the college for an alumni meet to be held later this month.
